Turku–Oulu air route celebrates its first anniversary!

Finnish airline Wingo xprs has been operating daily scheduled flights from Turku via Tampere to Oulu for a year now, and is pleased to announce that the route has attracted a total of almost 20,000 passengers in that time.

 

The schedules are designed to meet the needs of business travellers in particular for an optimal daily round trip. The flight time between Turku and Oulu including a stopover in Tampere is 1 hour 50 minutes.

 

Tourist class tickets are now also available and intended mainly for weekend travel.

Wingo xprs is a Finnish-Swedish owned carrier and flies the route with a 33 seat Saab 340 turboprop offering a 780 kg cargo capacity. Book online at www.wingo.fi.

 

Turku Airport currently offers direct flights to Helsinki, Mariehamn, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Gdansk.
